A Year In Review: 2024

2024 marked Re-TRAC's 20th year and we’re as motivated as ever to continue delivering on our promise to provide exceptional customer service and cost-effective data collection & reporting solutions to organizations leading waste & recycling programs in the US & Canada.  

As we look back on the past year, we're proud to share the exciting improvements and new features we've introduced to enhance your Re-TRAC experience and increase productivity. Our team has been hard at work, and we're thrilled to highlight the key releases that have made this year truly remarkable. 

Single Sign-On (SSO)

We kicked off 2024 with the launch of Single Sign-On (SSO), a feature designed to streamline your login process. With SSO, you can access Re-TRAC using your existing credentials from other trusted services, reducing the need to remember multiple passwords and improving security. 

The Re-TRAC API

Our next big feature release was the Re-TRAC API, enabling seamless integration with other tools and services. This feature allows developers to build custom applications and automate workflows, making it easier than ever to extend the functionality of our software to meet your unique needs. 

Transfer Member

In response to user feedback, we introduced the transfer member feature. This powerful new feature enables Program Managers to transfer a member from one user to another. This is especially useful in situations where an employee has left their position without passing off access to their user account to take over reporting.

Account Settings

We also introduced the account settings page, focusing on improved user management. This update gave account administrators more control over user permissions and roles, making it easier to manage your team's access and ensure that everyone has the right level of access to the features they need.

Workspace Preview

Finally, we introduced the Workspace Preview feature, to give Program Managers the ability to preview the member workspace. This feature eliminates the need for Program Managers to create member accounts just to see the reporters’ view in the program.

New Interface & Navigation

One of our most significant updates this year was the overhaul of our user interface. Based on user feedback, we redesigned the menus and navigation to provide a more intuitive and visually appealing experience. The new layout helps program managers and reporters quickly find the tools and information they need thereby enhancing program manager productivity and streamlining data reporting. 

All Re-TRAC users can enable the new layout starting Wednesday, April 30th. Simply enable the “See Re-TRAC's NEW look” toggle at the top of the page. Hovering over the toggle will also display a panel containing a link to the walkthrough video to take a tour before you decide to activate the feature.

We invite all Re-TRAC users to provide feedback about the new layout during this beta testing period. Your feedback will ensure the new layout and menus have a chance for refinement before the full release.
